4. Ken Akamatsu
Behold, the creator of Love Hina! After his success as a manga writer, Ken continued to produce Doujinshi. However, he does not sell it under his name, instead, he uses a pen-name, Awa Mizuno. If you want to catch him live, visit the Comiket convention. Maybe he is there selling a new story.
Furthermore, his work Love Hina is known as the origin of harem anime and manga, especially romantic comedy. Due to his influence, Ken Akamatsu is definitely a strong candidate for the best Doujinshi author of all time.
3. Crimson Comics: Prolific Doujin Author Group
A group (or maybe even one person) of Doujinshi author(s) has created over 50 H-doujin on over 20 different anime series, starting from the popular to the ambiguous, such as Naruto, Final Fantasy, Bleach, One Piece, and more! You will be baffled by these Doujin plot twists.
2. Minami Ozaki – One of the Best Doujinshi Authors
Our next candidate for best Doujinshi author is Minami Ozaki. She created the massively popular bl Doujinshi manga Zetsuai and was one of the pioneers of the genre.
Minami Ozaki is an incredibly prolific Doujinshi creator who has authored multiple Yaoi publications, mainly featuring characters from the famous soccer manga, Captain Tsubasa.
Dubbed as one of the queens of Doujinshi, her works have appeared under different pen names like Minami Himemuro and Ryo Minami. She is known for her carefully polished character designs and her works were groundbreaking as they featured gay relationships in anime at a time where it was not very common.
1. Clamp – Best Doujinshi Artists Group
And finally, Clamp! Initially, Clamp was a Doujinshi group of 11 women, but now, the team is left with four members.
The Clamp is an all-female Doujinshi manga artist group, with Nanase Ohkawa as the leader, and three other artists whose roles interchange for each series: Tsubaki Nekoi, Satsuki Igarashi, and Mokona. They started out by creating Doujinshi in the mid-1980s and later on began creating original manga as well. Some of Clamp’s famous works include a Doujinshi of Captain Tsubasa and Yaoi Doujinshi of Saint Seiya.
